Day by Day Itinerary

Start the day early with a transfer to the Jartepo Uzbek-Tajik border checkpoint. After crossing into Tajikistan, proceed to Haft Kul, the renowned Seven Lakes nestled in the mountains of Tajikistan. Known for their shifting hues, these lakes provide a striking backdrop and rank among the highlights of any journey to Tajikistan.

Exploration of the Seven Lakes with walks along:

Soya (1,740 m a.s.l.)

Hushyor (1,770 m a.s.l.)

Nophin (1,820 m a.s.l.)

Churdak (1,870 m a.s.l.)

Marghuzor (2,140 m a.s.l.)

Hazorchashma (2,332 m a.s.l.)

Following the visit to the first five lakes, reach Lake Marguzor, the sixth of the Seven Lakes. A brief stop is scheduled here to enjoy tea and snacks by the shore (10 km, 40 minutes).

The journey then continues to Lake Hazorchashma, named "Thousand Springs" due to the numerous water sources in the surrounding area (2 km, 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, take a leisurely stroll around the lake and take in the impressive natural scenery.

Return to Penjikent:

After visiting the lakes, return to Penjikent. There, visit the Rudaki Museum, dedicated to the famed Persian poet Rudaki, which houses numerous artifacts and exhibits detailing the region's history.

Return drive to Samarkand:

The tour concludes with the drive back to Samarkand via Penjikent. This day trip offers a distinct opportunity to observe the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of Tajikistan.
