COVID-19 Regulations for Uzbekistan Update 26.03.2022: due to requests on COVID-19 Regulations for the citizens of Uzbekistan and foreign tourists, the following clarifications and additions are made
due to requests on COVID-19 Regulations for the citizens of Uzbekistan and foreign tourists, the following clarifications and additions are made to the current border crossing procedure:
β The deadline for submission of βPCR tests within 72 hoursβ starts from the date and time of issuance of negative PCR test results to the applicant (paper, electronic, QR code). The certificate confirming the absence of coronavirus infection in the passenger must be valid at the time of crossing the border into the Republic of Uzbekistan;
All the above requirements and regulations apply to Uzbek citizens, foreign citizens, persons without citizenship, as well as to the tourists coming to Uzbekistan from any other country of the world.
Uzbek legislation does not impose restrictions on the departure of all persons in relation to coronavirus infections, including the submission of PCR tests for departure. However, while the laws and hygiene regulations of the country of exit or departure place requirements on passengers, Uzbekistan has every opportunity to be tested and vaccinated against coronavirus infection.
